General Information

            David W. Potts Consulting began in Portland, Oregon in 1986, specializing in personal computer troubleshooting and upgrading.  In January of 2016, we became David W. Potts Consulting, LLC.  We offer the same great services, just with a slightly different name.  As the industry matured, we branched into (wired and wireless) computer networking, home automation, home theatre and general electronics.  We can also assist with most peripheral components, as well as data recovery and eradication of spyware, adware and viruses.  We offer preventative maintenance services to help ensure your computers are running efficiently and to minimize downtime.  As the value of the data on most computers dwarfs the value of the computer hardware and software, we can also help archetect a backup strategy for you.

            For those who would like assistance with using their computer, its peripherals, or most electronics, we can work with you one-on-one, helping train you to use and integrate these tools.

           We have assisted many people who had spent great deals of time and become extremely frustrated while attempting to set up new equipment themselves.  You can avoid this time and frustration by allowing us to set up your equipment for you and train you how to use it, making new technologies easy to understand.

            We are available weekdays and weekends, daytime and evening.

            David W. Potts has over 19 years experience as a hardware/software support engineer and software design engineer for a major corporation in Oregon..  David specialized for them engineering custom solutions for internal departments with special needs.

             David W.
